Cattleman Jack Linkletter Passes
In this same issue last year, we did an interview with cattleman
Jack Linkletter on the enormous cattle empire he
built in the 1960’s and 70’s. Amassing a 200,000 head
cow/calf herd, Jack was bigger than life to the industry. He
pioneered the concept of lean beef and set in motion many
firsts that continue to shape the cattle industry today. On
